Michael Goetz has officially launched into a solo-directing career, having recently been part of the successful Goetz Brothers directing team with brother Kevin.  As the Goetz Brothers, Michael co-helmed spots for Nissan, BMW, McDonald’s, Miller, NASCAR, State Farm, and Honda to name a few.  Their work has been decorated by the industry’s top awards, including Emmy, Cannes, 2011 AICP Shortlist and two of their spots have been placed in the permanent collection in the Museum of Modern Art.

Michael’s wheelhouse is narrative storytelling, delivering both comedic and emotional spots through strong casting and performance- a trait passed on to both brothers by their father, actor Peter Michael Goetz.  Michael grew up backstage on Broadway, and in so doing says, “I was able to soak up not only the nuance of performance, but the way to get there.”

The Brothers still partner on longer fare.  The two just recently completed “Scenic Route” starring Josh Duhamel and Dan Fogler, with the film slated to premier at this year’s SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas.
